Microsoft Messanger (MSN): Can't setup my camera for video conferencing

205| Mon, 26 May 2008 22:14:00 GMT| anonymous| Comments (4)
I'm running under XP right now and I have an ATI TV
Wonder VE card installed in my computer. I have a
camcorder connected to my ATI card to use as a webcam for
video conferencing. But when I try to set it up with
the "audio and video tuning wizard", during the second
step where it askes for my camera type and I choose
the "ATI TV Wonder" option, my computer just
automatically reboots for me. Please help me in solving
this problem, I've been looking everwhere for a solution.
THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH!!

Greetings Alex,

You may just need to upgrade your TV Wonder drivers. You can do so here:

I already have the latest drivers for my TV wonder and
the problem is still there.

Hi Alex,

Then I'm afraid it probably won't work within Messenger. The ATI inputs have been issues in
the past.
